Foscam FI9821W V2 with control
With the newer version of the Foscam firmware you are prompted to change the default login. I did this then added another user called admin. I'm not sure if this is necessary but I was able to get the camera to work with control.
Camera Video Settings
- Stream Type: HD Mode
- Resolution: 720P
- Bit Rate: 128K
- Frame Rate: 5
- Key Frame Interval: 50
- Variable bitrate: Yes
Zoneminder Monitor Settings
- Source Type: Ffmpeg
- Function: Modect (or your choice)
- Source Path: rtsp://admin:(Password)@IP-Address:88/videoMain
- Remote Method: RTP/Unicast
- Capture Resolution (pixels):
1280x720 720p
preset - Control Type: Foscam FI9821W (see note 1)
- Control Device: (Password) (see note 2)
- Control Address: IP-Address:88
- Auto Stop Timeout: 1
Notes
Note 1: Edit Foscam FI9821W and remove check marks in Zoom, Focus, White, Iris, and change Presets number from 16 to 8
Note 2: You may be able to use just the camera password or user=(user)&pwd=(password)
