Not all features of the zm software work correctly when running from the LiveCD. For example the zone editing window does not display the camera view image. This is a result of a unionfs bug and is not present when installed to HD. There may be other similar bugs when running from the CD.
ZMliveCD 1.22.2 and 1.22.2.1 have a permissions issue that prevents event export. The solution is to change ownership of the zm temp directory. "chown apache.apache /var/www/html/zm/temp"
